Established in May 1998, the Imamia Organization of Pittsburgh (IOP) stands as a non-profit Islamic institution dedicated to nurturing and supporting the Shia Muslim community in Western Pennsylvania. Our primary mission is to champion the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.), fostering a vibrant space for spiritual growth, education, and communal unity. Through diverse programs and initiatives, we strive to embody and propagate the values and wisdom of our faith, serving as a beacon of guidance and solidarity for individuals seeking spiritual enrichment and connection within our community.
Board of Trustees
Imamia organization of Pittsburgh, is steered by a dedicated Board of Trustees entrusted with the pivotal task of formulating policies to realize the organization's objectives as outlined in its Constitution. Following are the members of the board of trustees.

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee assumes responsibility for executing the policies set forth by the Board of Trustees and managing the day-to-day operations of the IOP. Comprising 8 members, 4 of whom are elected by the IOP members every three years, and 4 nominated by the Board.
